# Lock

Lock $SWAN tokens to earn a 1.5x multiplier on all points in BlackSwan Earn.

### Requirements

| Parameter         | Value        |
| ----------------- | ------------ |
| Minimum Lock      | 50,000 $SWAN |
| Unlock Cooldown   | 7 days       |
| Reward multiplier | 1.5x         |

### How It Works

1. Hold at least 50,000 $SWAN in your wallet
2. Go to the Lock tab in[ blackswan.wtf/app/earn](https://blackswan.wtf/app/earn)
3. Lock your tokens
4. All points earned now receive a 1.5x multiplier

### Unlocking

To unlock your tokens:

1. Request unlock from the Lock tab
2. Wait 7 days (cooldown period)
3. Complete the unlock

Warning: Once you unlock, you permanently lose the 1.5x multiplier for the current season.

### Why Lock?

The lock serves two purposes:

1. Anti-Sybil — Prevents farming with multiple accounts
2. Alignment — Participants have skin in the game
